Week 1: Jan. 5, 2013

Every New Year's Day my family gather's together to watch football and enjoy a great meal together.  Well half the family was sick this year, so our New Year's Eve celebration was postponed until the following weekend.  I did not make a pumpkin or apple pie for Thanksgiving this year, so why not make them for New Year's Day.  While I was making pies, I could see no reason not to make snowball cupcakes and sugar cookies as well.  It took two days to make all four items.  The kids helped me peel and slice the apples.  The little Bubble G spilled sugar all over the counter and Rapunzel did a great job using the slicer. Our apple pie was a hit as usual.
